Every time you print you’re doing a little damage to the environment. It isn’t just the paper that you use but the ink and toner used.
A Dutch company, SPRANQ, has designed a font to try and reduce the amount of ink used with each printing. The approach is simple; drill holes in the letters so that less ink is needed for each one.
SPRANQ recognise that many people won’t like the appearance of the font, but here’s the clever bit… if you print ecofont out at 9pt or 10pt (two very common sizes for printing) you’ll not notice the holes.
